Encryption provider Vaultive said on Tuesday it has hired a new senior director of channels.
Ken Knueven joins the company and will oversee Vaultive's channel strategy, focusing on cloud-services adoption in vertical markets including the federal, higher education and health-care sectors. Knueven most recently served as vice president of strategic development for IxReveal Inc., a text analytics software firm. He also spent seven years at Microsoft, where he served as federal programs director.
“Cloud adoption is at a crossroads, with organizations in every industry balancing the cost and flexibility benefits of tools like Microsoft’s Office 365 against high-profile privacy and data ownership concerns making international headlines," Knueven said in a prepared statement. “Vaultive’s approach to persistently encrypting cloud data empowers businesses to take advantage of the latest cloud applications, without fear of losing direct control of their data."
Vaultive also said it has signed two new partners: immixGroup, a public sector technology specialist, and CoreBTS, a key Microsoft in the Mid-Atlantic.
