Modern Enterprise Solutions (MES), which resells new and refurbished data networking and telecom hardware, has opened a new location and is planning its overseas expansion.

The Tampa, Fla.-based company now runs facilities in Buffalo, N.Y., in addition to its headquarters and existing offices in Chicago, Reno, Nev., and Rochester, N.Y. Adding Buffalo to its roster gives MES a foothold in the northeastern United States, the company said.

Meantime, even though MES did not provide details about its international expansion goals, it said such momentum is on the horizon.

"Our business is a global enterprise and we are currently exploring the best opportunities to expand MES overseas," Neil Birner, co-founder of MES, said in a press release.
