Grandstream Launches 2 New Desktop IP Phones

Grandstream Networks has introduced two new Gigabit desktop phones with color display for SMBs and enterprise customers.

The GXP2140 and GXP2160 Enterprise HD IP Phones sport a large, color LCD display that the company says offers a better experience for users; dual, super-fast Gigabit network ports that guarantee the fastest network speed for attached desktop computers; and integrated Bluetooth that enables innovative voice/data applications with mobile phones and headsets.

“Stunning visual experience, lightening-fast performance, built-in mobility support, unprecedented software features, flexible customizability and attractive price will be the new norm of future mainstream desk phones," Grandstream Networks CEO David Li said. "We strive to offer the leading edge of unparalleled user experience at a massive scale and affordability level." 

The new phones support a number of advanced productivity features such as phonebook exchange/synch-up between the GXP Phones and mobile phones, call and phone operation via Bluetooth headsets from several meters away, easy call transfers between the new GXP Phones and an iPhone or Android mobile phone, and automated local weather forecast. The phones fully support all major SIP-based IP PBX/softswitch/IMS platforms in the market such as Broadsoft, Metaswitch, Asterisk and Elastix. They also support 19 languages.

The phones are available for purchase through Grandstream partners — $139 for the GXP2140 and $159 for the GXP2160.
