Birch Promotes Smith to VP Channel Role

Birch Communications has promoted Brad Smith to vice president of dealer sales.

Birch's Brad SmithSmith moves up from senior director of channel sales. He now oversees the national and regional sales managers working with Birch agents.

Smith has worked for Birch since 2002, when it was Access Integrated Networks, with an eight-month stint at TEM provider Asentinel in between.

“With the intensive growth of Birch in the last two years, our leadership team needed to expand," Vincent Oddo, president and CEO of Birch, said in a press release. “We have been actively adding staff and key personnel across our entire platform."

Birch also promoted Mike Otting to vice president of telesales, on the direct side of the house.
