8x8 Releases Version 8.0 of Virtual Contact Center

8x8 Inc. has upgraded its cloud call center software, Virtual Contact Center.

VCC 8.0 comes with features including virtual queuing, customizable SMTP services, local CRM enhancements, mobile device optimization, increased productivity, chat interface and support for multiple browsers.

The product is available immediately through channel partners. It can be sold as a standalone platform or as part of 8x8's Virtual Office telephony and UC services.
