Windstream Gets Platinum Status With Polycom

Polycom has named Windstream a platinum-level Choice partner.

Windstream says the designation means that businesses wanting to invest in and implement world-class unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) solutions can now look to the Little Rock, Ark.-based communications provider for highly customized solutions.

"Windstream is committed to providing 'smart solutions, personalized service' to our customers and delivering the highest innovative industry standards with each uniquely designed, customer-specific Unified Communications solution," said Matt Preschern, Windstream's senior vice president and enterprise chief marketing officer. "With Polycom providing the handset for our industry-leading Virtual PBX solution, we're able to offer an even broader range of affordable, easy-to-use, best-in-class IP telephony systems to our customers."

Polycom's Choice Partner Program emphasizes skills development, specialization and other value-added activities. The Platinum Level designation indicates that Windstream has invested and enhanced its technical expertise and go-to-market offerings. In accordance with the program's exacting standards, Windstream has acquired the knowledge to assess, develop, install and offer ongoing support to a variety of customer environments across industries.

Polycom Choice Partners are part of the Polycom Partner Network, a diverse group of organizations that embraces and extends Polycom's open, standards-based video collaboration solutions and together deliver the most complete UC&C solutions available to more than 415,000 Polycom customers.
