Verizon Wireless Customers Get E-Billing Without Signing Up for It

Verizon Wireless customers might be helping the environment without choosing to do so.

The carrier says customers who upgraded to a new phone at one of its retail outlets over the last several days might have automatically been selected for Verizon's paperless billing option. A glitch in the company's computers is responsible. Verizon confirmed the problem and is working to fix it, Computerworld reported.
