CompTIA Publishes New Training, Sales Playbooks for Partners

CompTIA has added three new sales playbooks on advanced communications, cloud telephony and mobile device management to its Winter 2014 Channel Training Catalog.

The advanced communications curriculum covers topics including video conferencing, cloud-delivered apps, and unified communications and collaboration. Cloud telephony covers VoIP services, while mobile device management helps partners develop BYOD strategies for end users and oversee device inventory and life cycle.

The playbooks combine workshops with templates and training materials to help sales teams with prospecting and sales campaigns.

“Solution providers are using these resources as a foundation to establish their own, customized sales playbook and to enhance their sales training and marketing message development," said Kelly Ricker, senior vice president of events and education for CompTIA.

The materials "will help solution providers develop the tools to target, position and close new opportunities in these fast-growing opportunity areas," Ricker added.

CompTIA published playbooks for cloud storage and backup and recovery earlier this year.
