CompTIA now offers the Mobility+ certification for partners.

The curriculum covers the knowledge and skills IT pros need to deploy, integrate, support and manage a mobile environment. Facets include mobile device management, troubleshooting, security and network infrastructure.

CompTIA said the course work is best suited for people who have earned their CompTIA Network+ credentials or have equivalent working knowledge. All candidates should have at least 18 months of work experience in the administration of mobile devices in the enterprise. Mobility architects and engineers, and network and security administrators, all tend to fit the criteria.

Mobility+ is offered in two formats: instructor-led or online. Mobility+ marks the second mobility-related certification CompTIA has introduced this year. In October, the IT association launched Mobile App Security+.
