IT solutions provider CA Technologies has named Adam Famularo as its new senior vice president for partner sales in North America.

CA Technologies' Adam FamularoFamularo will be in charge of channel sales and go-to-market strategies, reporting to George Fischer, executive VP and group executive of worldwide sales and services.

Famularo has 15 years of channel experience. Most recently, he was SVP of the AppLogic customer solutions unit at CA. Before that, he was SVP and general manager of cloud computing at the company, where he helped set CA's overall cloud strategy. He's also led the company's recovery management and data modeling business unit.

“With his impressive track record and longstanding relationships with C-level partner executives across our markets, Adam has the ideal mix of experience to help our partners grow their businesses and provide customers with effective IT management solutions," said Fischer. “The partner community is critical to helping CA’s business grow and we are committed to their success."

CA's former global channel chief, David Bradley, left the company in October to pursue new opportunities. No word yet how much change will come to CA's partner program as a result of Famularo's appointment, but Channelnomics reported that the company's channel network is behind him.
