Seattle-based Ethernet provider Wolfe is expanding throughout New York by adding three new points of presence (POPs) to its growing footprint.

"Companies in New York are migrating their networks to more modern Ethernet-based services to support the new bandwidth-intensive technology and applications they are adopting," said Michael Scott, general manager of Wolfe. "The addition of these three points of presence positions Wolfe for growth and gives us the ability to meet these rising needs. We wanted presence both inside and outside the city to enhance our reach in New York."

Wolfe recently announced similar service in Chicago, with more rollouts around the country in the coming months. The company currently operates in Washington, Oregon, Southern California, New Jersey and Atlanta.

Wolfe's customizable, high-bandwidth, fiber-based Ethernet services including Ethernet Transport, Metro E, Virtual Private Line, IP-VPN, and Business Internet. The company also offers a residential internet service for multi-dwelling units and new home developments.
