Service provider United Fiber & Data (UFD) on Tuesday launched its channel program, dubbed Agent Alliance.
Partners now may sell networking and broadband products – including Ethernet, colocation, and dark and, soon, lit fiber – between New York City and Washington, D.C. The company said its fiber-optic network uses all new glass.
UFD partners have access to a portal with resources that include training, sales and marketing materials. Compensation includes residuals, referral bonuses and incentives.
"We know that agent relationships are crucial to our success and are dedicated to providing a robust offering and top-notch support to our partners," said Christopher Lodge, COO of UFD.
UFD, founded in 2009, said it will debut its fiber services in early 2014.
