CLOUD PARTNERS — MegaPath Corp. (Booth 507) on Thursday announced the availability of its Cloud Capacity Assessment service, which gives businesses insight into the actual capacity and resources required to move some or all of their infrastructure to the cloud.
The no-obligation service is available free of charge for a limited time. It includes a one-week evaluation that helps businesses measure the current workload capacity of their data center and desktop infrastructure, and monitors total resource usage. The assessment is delivered in a detailed, graphical report. For business customers that have already virtualized their infrastructure, MegaPath said its Cloud Capacity Assessment service can help fine-tune resources and right-size infrastructure, while enhancing security via MegaPath’s data centers.
“Businesses planning to transition to the cloud as well as businesses that have already virtualized their infrastructure should perform this free assessment to ensure they are not overspending on unnecessary capacity and resources," said John Scarborough, senior vice president of product and marketing for MegaPath.
Meanwhile, MegaPath is offering its partners a 1.5X monthly recurring revenue SPIFF on all new enterprise cloud hosting resources and a 1X monthly recurring revenue SPIFF on Hosted Exchange services sold on or before Nov. 30, 2013. Stop by the company's booth to learn more.
