HD Distributing, which specializes in video and unified communications, is teaming with videoconferencing provider Tely Labs to provide its reseller channel with value-added distribution services.

“Tely Labs has created an offering that meets pent-up demand for a new way to do business videoconferencing, with less cost and complexity," said Steve Garber, president at HD Distributing.  “The telyHD Pro is a very attractively priced room system that our reseller channel can confidently sell to their enterprise or SMB customers, and we are very pleased to add it to our product portfolio."

The standards-based telyHD Pro appliance is only available through authorized resellers. It costs $649, and includes a one-year subscription to the telyCloud virtual infrastructure. Tely Labs says the system’s SIP standard support enables easy integration with customers’ existing videoconferencing networks, providing a way to extend video collaboration beyond enterprise boardrooms into secondary conference rooms. The telyCloud service provides an affordable alternative for businesses wishing to implement videoconferencing without having to invest in expensive video infrastructure, the company said.

“HD Distributing is well-known as an expert in videoconferencing, serving a highly focused group of specialist resellers," said Sreekanth Ravi, founder and CEO of Tely Labs.  “Their deep knowledge base in video communications and complementary solutions make them an ideal partner for us, and we are excited to work with them to meet our growing channel demand."
