MegaPath Nabs New VP of Channel Sales from 8x8

MegaPath Corp. has named a replacement for Eric Beller, who left the company last month to work for master agency Sandler Partners.

MegaPath's Matt HutchinsonMatthew Hutchinson now is serving as vice president of channel sales for MegaPath. He comes to the communications service provider from 8x8 Inc., where he worked as director of sales and channel marketing. Hutchinson also has held channel roles at Logitech, HP and HJN Telecom, in addition to sales and marketing positions at a Plantronics division, Nortel, Lucent and CellularONE Boston.

At MegaPath, Hutchinson is charged with overseeing the direction and management of MegaPath's global channel sales operations.

"Matt brings with him years of experience and a highly successful track record of channel sales growth," said Dan Foster, president of business markets for MegaPath. "Matt will work closely with our partners to drive sales and customer success. He knows how to address the needs of the channel and will ensure that our partners have the right tools to give their customers a competitive edge in the marketplace today and in the future."
