Technology distributor ScanSource Inc. announced Thursday that it has moved its Cisco practice from the ScanSource Security business unit to its ScanSource Catalyst business unit, which focuses on voice, video and networking solutions.
As part of that specialty focus, ScanSource Catalyst can better support resellers with people, tools and solutions, the company said in a press statement.
ScanSource Catalyst has a trained unified communications and collaboration sales force, with team members that are Cisco-certified and have an average of more than 10 years’ experience. Further, ScanSource Catalyst's Enablement Specialists can help resellers embrace collaboration products while its Design Engineers can help create solutions.
ScanSource Catalyst also offers its Collaboration FastQuote Tool, which helps speed up the quoting process for resellers, as well as internal tools and support to assist the Cisco field sales force.
In addition, ScanSource Catalyst provides complementary solutions from many manufacturer partners to round out its collaboration offering. Resellers also have access to professional services, including network assessments, provisioning, staging and pre-programming of collaboration solutions.
