HP this week laid out new products for SMBs, all of which are available through resellers.
The new products are the ProBook 400 and 200 Series business notebooks, and new versions of the Scanjet Sheet-feed Scanner, and LaserJet and Officejet printers.
The ProBook notebooks come in different screen sizes but both feature Intel and AMD processors. They're priced for SMBs and contain differentiators such as a hybrid hard drive (on the 400 series). HP expects them to be available this month; the 400 series will starts at $499 and the 200 series starts at $249.
Meantime, the LaserJet Pro multifunction printer now comes in the M521 series, which lets users print from their smartphones or tablets. The LaserJet Enterprise M725 does large-volume printing and imaging. Next, the Scanjet Pro 3000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner supports applications including HP's Flow CM Professional. The new OfficeJet printers cost up to 50 percent less per page than laser printers, HP said, and the OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-lets users bring big print jobs in-house.
All of the printers except the OfficeJet are available now – that one will be ready for sale in July.
