Ingram Micro Inc.'s North America Services Division today unveiled a new online professional services network for its resellers.
IM Link, which replaces the distributor's Ingram Micro Services Network (IMSN) and IM Onsite platforms, lets partners collaborate with, and in-source technology lifecycle services from, a select number of qualified IT service providers. The Ingram Micro-vetted providers have signed a confidentiality and non-compete agreement, and will deliver services and support under partners' brands.
The professional services are placed into four categories: Planning, Implementation, Management and Support. So far, service options include software application and development, integration and data migration, assessment and remote service delivery. These all come in addition to the break/fix and installation services historically provided by IMSN.
“IM Link is IMSN on steroids – it’s not only bigger, it’s simply better and offers the professional services and advanced services expertise channel partners need to grow their businesses without adding unnecessary costs and risks," Jason Bystrak, director of sales for Ingram Micro Services Division, North America, said in a press release.
IM Link is available to Ingram Micro partners in the United States and Canada. There are no membership dues, transaction fees or monthly services charges.
"IM Link is a high-value service that makes it easy and safe for our partners to grow their businesses through partnership and say ‘yes’ to business deals and service opportunities they may otherwise have walked away from," said Renee Bergeron, vice president of managed services and cloud computing, Ingram Micro North America.
