Managed services provider Masergy has named Greg C. Nelson as its senior vice president of global sales.
Nelson previously worked for Forrester Research. He was there for nine years in multiple executive positions, most recently as chief sales officer.
“Greg is a significant addition to the Masergy executive team," said Chris MacFarland, CEO of Masergy. "[He] will play an integral role in our growth strategy as we further expand the reach of our global networking and cloud communications offerings to enterprises around the world."
Before becoming chief sales officer at Forrester, Nelson spent two years in London as the company’s vice president of EMEA sales where he re-structured and led the firm’s regional EMEA sales team. Prior to Forrester, Nelson held executive positions at Giga Information Group Inc., Sterling Software Inc. and Texas Instruments.
