Google recently congratulated its top partners at its inaugural Global Partner Summit in Mountain View, Calif.
The search giant held the event from Feb. 26-28. More than 400 partner leaders participated in three days of training at the summit. Google also recognized the work that their partners have done helping businesses embrace new solutions and move to the cloud.
"To help partners build their expertise and prepare for certification exams, we’re launching a partner university. The university will feature a combination of self-guided online courses, instructor-led online courses, and in-person classes that can be taken individually or sequentially. We’re also doing more to recognize outstanding resellers across different products. Two years ago, we began recognizing certain Google Apps resellers as premier resellers. Today, we’re adding similar ‘premier’ designations for our top partners in our Search Reseller Program and our brand new Maps for Business Reseller Program," said Mark Hodgson, head of global partner programs.
Google honored its 2012 global partners of the year: Softbank (Japan), Cloud Sherpas (USA and APAC), Onix Networking (USA), SPH (Korea) and PA Consulting (UK & USA).
