Texas-based fiber provider Alpheus Communications has signed master agency Sandler Partners to its channel program.

Sandler Partners, based in California, is expanding its reach in the Lone Star State, where Alpheus provides metro Ethernet service for voice, data and video transport, and connectivity to about 20 data centers. Alpheus' products include high-bandwidth transport, SIP trunking and dedicated Internet access for businesses deploying SaaS platforms, cloud computing and remotely hosted IT infrastructure.

“Alpheus is very competitive on the pricing front, which is important given the current economic climate," said Alan Sandler, founder and managing partner of Sandler Partners. “We’re already working with Alpheus to deliver solutions to customers in Texas, and the Alpheus team has been responsive throughout the process – from quick quotes to fast installs."

Alpheus launched its channel program about a year ago and since has added several well-known partners, including Liquid Networx, CSG Affiliates and Simplified Communications Group.
