ProfitBricks has released its Foundation Program for startup companies throughout the country.

The infrastructure-as-a-service provider first unveiled the initiative to firms in New England in December.

The ProfitBricks Foundation Program targets startups with at least one office in the United States and revenue of less than $1 million per year. The program gives them 20 percent off their ProfitBricks IaaS services for one year and provides access to a ProfitBricks cloud service for one year at no cost.

"Startups demand a cost-effective cloud computing alternative and ProfitBricks is answering that call," said ProfitBricks USA CEO Bob Rizika. "We are ready to give startups nationwide the additional incentive to get up and running faster."

ProfitBricks launched its referral program in January and also said it is seeking to add VARs to its indirect channel.
