CHANNEL PARTNERS — Hosted PBX provider Momentum (Booth 4031 and an Elite Sponsor) said today it has added video to its cloud unified communications platform.
Momentum has teamed with Radvision to embed SCOPIA video into its as-a-service product. Momentum Video, powered by SCOPIA, is a scalable, multipoint conferencing service with HD functionality. It includes a desktop and mobile client, and comes with presentation and recording components. Further, Momentum Video works with room-based equipment, desktops, tablets, smartphones and UC apps.

Momentum Video uses little to no capex because it is a hosted service, requiring monthly opex payments instead of a large, up-front investment.
