Green Cloud Technologies said on Monday it has signed master agency Carrier Access Inc. as a new partner.

Carrier Access at first will sell Green Cloud's server restoration and virtual server platforms.

“It’s an offering that complements our core network services and is a value-add to our customers," said Shane Kennedy, director of sales at Carrier Access. "Green Cloud provides a great opportunity for alternative revenue streams. It helps us stabilize our base as telecom becomes more of a commodity."

Green Cloud only sells through the channel.

“Our alliance with Carrier Access demonstrates how the telecom industry can grow by embracing new partnerships and new technologies," said Dan Sterling, president of Green Cloud. “Partnering with a top-tier agent like Carrier Access is our stamp of approval. We are doing something here that many thought couldn’t be done."
