Fiber and networking solutions provider Alpheus Communications has hired Matt Milliron as its new senior vice president of enterprise and channel sales, responsible for growing and further developing the company's direct and indirect sales.

Alpheus Communications' Matt MillironHouston-based Alpheus provides enterprise network services, including Metro Ethernet, MPLS, E-LAN, data center colocation and business-class voice solutions. The company recently announced a $10 million investment to expand its fiber network and enterprise-focused workforce.

“I’m excited to join Alpheus during this time of growth and investment, and I look forward to further expanding Alpheus’ share of the enterprise market," said Milliron. “Alpheus’ proven reputation and deep commitment to customer and channel partner relationships attracted me, as did the company’s wholly owned fiber network and high-quality transport services, which are key to long-term growth and success."

Before joining Alpheus, Milliron was regional vice president of sales for Airband Communications, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the direct sales channel; previously, he held sales and general manager roles with Cbeyond.
