Continuum and Fiberlink say their new partnership will enable service providers to offer enterprise-class mobile device management to an increasingly sophisticated small and medium-sized business market.
By adding Fiberlink's MaaS360 to Continuum's remote monitoring management platform, the companies said they can deliver advantages for MSPs that include a broader range of functionality, better security management, simplified deployment, and support for the "bring your own device" trend.
Other features include: end-to-end MDM, MaaS360 Cloud Extender, granular policy management, vertical compliance assurance and actionable reporting.
"Because of the value we provide in the financial/insurance sector, when it comes to MDM, we need a solution that proactively ensures that mobile usage is secure, protected and compliant while also addressing the flexibility and ease of use requirements that are vital for our clients," said Dan McCoy, principal of Micro Enterprises LLC.
Continuum's MDM solution will be offered as a limited release to a small number of partners in December 2012. It will be available as a full release to all Continuum partners in the first quarter of 2013.
