AirWatch says it'll support Windows Phone 8 as of the day Microsoft releases compatible phones and devices.
AirWatch says it will support all of the publicly announced features on Windows Phone 8, as well as those that have not yet been revealed by Microsoft. For example, AirWatch, which specializes in mobile security and device management, said its enterprise mobility management platform will allow companies and organizations to oversee Windows 8 functions including device reporting, configuration and analysis, over-the-air updates, SD card disabling and more.
“The release of Windows Phone 8 further represents Microsoft’s growing mobile enterprise presence," said John Marshall, CEO of AirWatch in a prepared statement. “Now, businesses can maximize existing investments in Microsoft technology and streamline mobile integration into their infrastructures."
Resellers distribute AirWatch's platforms.
