The group was organized for telecom agents, master agents, equipment VARs, cloud service providers, carriers and even business clients to discuss telecom contracts, regulatory matters and other topics.
“My goal in forming the group was to provide an opportunity for members to gain information and insight on contract and other legal issues confronting the channel while sharing their views freely and openly," Bronston said. “The group has far exceeded all of my expectations."
Bronston also runs a sub-group with about 700 members; the Telecom Taxation and Compliance group was created to help members sort out complexities surrounding telecom taxes and compliance requirements. Members are permitted to exchange questions, ideas and real-life situations.
Bronston has worked as a telecom legal expert, largely in the channel, for more than 20 years.
