The conferencing company said the proprietary account-provisioning tool automates account tracking and commissions-payment reporting for masters and their subagents.
Setup is done purely over the Web. Approved master agents get access to the system through a unique identifying URL. That link shows customer pricing and corresponding commission rates, and a field that gives the master agency control over the assignment of URLs for subagent tracking. As a result, subagents then may help their customers sign up and get immediate access to StartMeeting's audio and Web conferencing platform.
“We developed this tracking methodology specifically for our master agents, giving them full control over the distribution of our automated provisioning tools to their subs," said Greg Plum, StartMeeting’s vice president of channel development. “It simply cannot get more streamlined than this."
