Cloud communications provider Momentum has expanded its year-old VAR program.
As of August, Momentum had hired indirect channel managers to oversee sales in Boston; Denver; Los Angeles/Orange County; Nashville; and Miami. At press time, Momentum also was planning to expand into Chicago, Dallas and New York.
The company also has created new management tools for partners and new products for customers. To the latter point, the hosted VoIP portfolio now includes unified communications, contact center, call recording and mobile applications.
Many of the changes have come as a result of direction from Momentum's new channel chief, Jamie Minner. Minner has been on board as vice president of sales since June. He came to Momentum from MHO Networks.
“We are bringing quality and automation to the VAR partner market – a hosted VoIP reseller program that actually works," said Minner. “The reseller and subscriber portals automate the entire customer experience, from order entry to account and feature management. The latest product additions from Momentum are all geared toward delivering flexible solutions that are accessible on a multitude of platforms and devices. Extending tools that bring efficiency to business processes, as well as increased ROI, are surefire ways for our VARs to upsell and generate significant profits."
Momentum offers reseller benefits including access to a support team with dedicated representatives in sales, account management, marketing, technical support and engineering.
