LifeSize, a provider of video collaboration solutions, has named Ray Villareal as its vice president of the Americas and general manager of global services.
The former consultant will be responsible for building, leading and maintaining LifeSize's Americas team and global service organization, managing the achievement of revenue targets and business objectives while cultivating relationships with crucial customers and partners, said LifeSize, a division of Logitech.
Villareal most recently served as a go-to-market consultant for numerous technologies companies in the collaboration, search and virtualization markets. He also has managed field operations for SumTotal Systems, served as the top executive for two venture-backed startups and gained experience at Compaq/Tandem Computers and WebEx, which Cisco acquired.
