The regional fiber provider of high bandwidth connectivity solutions for enterprise, data center and carrier businesses says the indirect channel program enables national and regional telecom agents, value added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and consultants to sell DukeNet’s high capacity optical and Ethernet services to midmarket and large enterprise customers in the Southeast.
The company also announced that it has signed a new premier partner, Converged Network Services Group (CNSG), a telecommunications consulting firm and master agent, based in Charlotte, N.C., to promote the DukeNet services portfolio and engage new customers throughout the DukeNet service area.
“CNSG is extremely excited to be the first master agent in DukeNet’s channel partner program," says Matt Harty, president and CEO of CNSG. “DukeNet has very strong brand recognition in the Southeast with a great reputation for their products and customer service. With over 7,000 fiber route miles in key Southeast markets coupled with a very dense high capacity fiber network, we can now give our agent partners another viable alternative to service their enterprise customers."
“Over the last 14 years, DukeNet has primarily been a carrier’s carrier providing wholesale transport and last mile solutions to our customers," states Mike Prendergast, DukeNet senior vice president of sales and marketing. “Within the last three years, DukeNet has expanded its fiber network in response to the increased demand in deploying fiber to the tower with our national mobile operator partners. In order to take advantage of the fiber infrastructure and density of our network, launching the channel partner program is a natural extension of our success in the carrier space. We believe our best-in-class Ethernet and fiber-based products and services will give agents, VARs and integrators new choices and solutions for their customers here in the Southeast."
