It's the second master agent to team with 10n2.
TBI runs a wireless division, complete with hardware and applications, and that unit pairs well with 10n2's business model. 10n2, a startup helmed by several former PAETEC executives, has developed anti-distracted-driving software that helps businesses, universities and other organizations with fleets prevent employees from using their mobile devices behind the wheel. Not only is distracted driving a public threat, it also costs. The U.S. Department of Transportation now enforces stiff fines of up to $11,000 per company when employers and employees are caught using their mobile devices while driving. Many states also can suspend commercial licenses for two or more violations. Further, insurance premiums rise for unsafe drivers. All in all, for employers, the price of prevention outweighs the risks.
To that end, TBI and 10n2 are offering partners a complete platform to sell to end users. 10n2's solutions include hardware, pre-installed 10n2 applications, installation, maintenance and service.
“10n2’s product line provides a unique, safe solution for the 100 million-plus smartphone users in the U.S. and their employers," said Ciarán Hynes, CEO of 10n2. "TBI’s national distribution channel provides the critical fulfillment services to our customers, making this a perfect partnership."
TBI agents will be able to manage clients' 10n2 applications through the PartnerIQ tool.
“The value each of us brings is completely complementary," said Geoff Shepstone, president of TBI, said of the partnership.
10n2's software includes the new BizProtect and OneProduct lines.
