Sprint on Thursday introduced new offerings for small business customers, including a Web-based tool that enables its customers to build customized mobile apps in order to market their businesses.
The new offerings represent the next batch of Sprint Biz 360 solutions, which the telecommunications company introduced last summer.
Another new offer is an IT helpdesk for small businesses to assist with on-site and remote technical support.
Sprint Workforce Locator helps customers locate, route and contact mobile workers while Nextmail is designed to improve communications and productivity among large teams or employees in the field via dispatches, streamlined messages and time-management apps, Sprint said.
“What small businesses want is for a carrier to pull together the solution pieces into a coherent package that’s easy and comes with the support they want. That continues to be our intent with Sprint Biz 360," said Jaime Jones, Sprint senior vice president.
On August 1, 2011, Sprint introduced Biz 360. The initial suite of offerings included wireless phone solutions, fixed and mobile connectivity solutions, productivity solutions and specialized plans as well as business-grade support and discounts.
