Conferencing and collaboration services provider InterCall on Tuesday released its webcasting platform.
InterCall Webcast Studio targets enterprises that conduct events such as investors relations calls and press conferences.
"InterCall Webcast Studio is built to handle thousands of participants at once," said Mike Nessler, executive vice president of event services at InterCall. "It gives organizations a powerful platform for communicating with their stakeholders."
The new platform features a simple reservation process and it works with InterCall Virtual Environments. Webcasts can be broadcast live or archived for later playback, and can include basic desktop or high-end video. Finally, InterCall Webcast Studio automatically detects available bandwidth and switches to audio-only streams if video runs too slowly.
InterCall is owned by West Corp.
