The telecommunications provider, tw telecom, on Thursday announced winning a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide advanced voice, data and Internet services in California.
The terms of the multi-year agreement call for tw telecom to provide federal agencies within GSA's Region 9 (California) a variety of communications services, ranging from digital voice/voice over IP to private network transport.
Colorado-based tw telecom said the contract extends through March 2014 and includes provisions for two one-year renewal options.
The business-focused telecommunications company did not reveal the value of the contract.
