LG-Ericsson USA on Tuesday released its iPECS-MG Business-Enabled Communications System to its resellers.

The platform targets SMBs, functions like a traditional PBX – supporting TDM and IP extensions – and includes unified communications (UC). Telephone features include alarm, paging, music on hold, auto attendant, voice mail, call routing and more.

Each on-site iPECS-MG server supports up to 414 ports and can network as many as 250 devices across multiple locations. The platform can be combined with a range of LG-Ericsson voice and data products and accessories. On the data side, there also are Ethernet switches for high-speed data transfer, Internet access, VoIP QoS and Power over Ethernet. LG-Ericsson further sells network management software for configuring and monitoring on-premises and remote devices.

LG-Ericsson is backing the iPECS-MG with U.S.-based technical support and a five-year warranty.
