Internap Completes Voxel Purchase

Internap Network Services Corp., a provider of intelligent IT infrastructure services, on Tuesday announced completing the acquisition of Voxel Holdings, Inc., a provider of scalable hosting and cloud services for the enterprise.

The all-cash deal was valued at about $30 million excluding an another potential $5 million in connection with the satisfaction of specific objectives over the next two years.

Internap said the merger enhances its IT infrastructure platform and enables the company to support early- to mid-stage IT infrastructure customers that are requesting dedicated hosting services.

New York City-based Voxel serves more than 1,000 customers and has a global presence that extends into Asia, Europe and North America, according to Atlanta-based Internap.
