Unified communications provider Alteva now resells the online data back-up platform, MozyPro.

The company's channel partners are able to sell MozyPro (for the same commissions they earn on other products, the company said), targeting firms concerned with business continuity and disaster recovery.

“With electronic data on the rise, many companies are transitioning to electronic filing, making automated backup of files crucial," said Elizabeth Backus, a product manager for Alteva. But traditional backup products tend to be expensive and take weeks to set up, she said. MozyPro, on the other hand, requires no setup fees or hardware installation because it's Internet-based.
