Systems integrator AdvanTel Networks said this week it has purchased the customer base of ACT-Cascades, a voice and data provider serving businesses in Oregon and southwestern Washington.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
AdvanTel, a top Juniper and Avaya partner, said the acquisition is part of its ongoing expansion efforts in the Pacific Northwest.
"AdvanTel is dedicated to making sure each and every customer receives the best service and support possible," said Dan Ferguson, AdvanTel's vice president of sales, in a press release. "In addition, we look forward to being able to provide not only maintenance support, but also a full range of services and products for all their end-to-end communications solutions."
AdvanTel, based in San Jose, Calif., was founded in 1984. It targets SMBs and enterprises with services including security, LAN/WAN, VoIP, traditional voice, contact centers, as well as project management, and professional and managed services. ACT-Cascades also was established in 1984. It provides Avaya and Cisco platforms, plus Key systems and PBXs.
