December 15, 2011 - News

Humbug Telecom Labs has partnered with China-based OpenVox Communication,  a provider of open-source Asterisk telephony hardware and software products, to help prevent telecom fraud for OpenVox customers.

“By partnering with a successful company like OpenVox, Humbug will be able to bring Telecom Fraud prevention to new markets," said Yaniv Rofé, CEO at Humbug Telecom Labs. “The partnership with OpenVox enables Humbug to prevent Telecom Fraud the day that the card is installed – mitigating the risk substantially and protecting the company that owns the PBX."

“The cooperation with Humbug allows OpenVox to bring additional cloud service to our customers," said Lin Miao, the CEO of OpenVox. “We believe that our partnership will surely bring us success in serving the open source telecommunication community, and we are honored to be the first Asterisk hardware manufacturer authorized by Humbug."

Israel-based Humbug is a provider of carrier-class fraud prevention, detection and telecom analytics.
