Carrier Ethernet service provider Transbeam has announced its new term-based pricing structure for its Metro Ethernet-over-Copper service.

Due to its recent expansion of its EOC footprint, which now covers 437 Central offices throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio, Michigan and California, Transbeam decided to redesign its pricing structure to offer competitive rates based on one-, two-, and three-year term agreements.

"We have been growing our EOC network and customer base for years and with the demand for affordable and reliable Metro Ethernet solutions growing we see a tremendous opportunity for our services," said Marc Sellouk, founder and CEO of Transbeam. "With our new term-based price reductions, we are able to make high bandwidth options cost-effective for all of wholesale and retail customers."

Transbeam, which sells through channel partners, says more businesses can now take advantage of the affordable, scalable and flexible network options it offers. The Transbeam network allows customers to combine EOC, Fiber, xT1 and xDSL access to offer any combination of data network options.
