Forney is a familiar face in the telecom channel, having worked for more than 25 years for various manufacturers and resellers in the industry. She comes to Jenne from Avaya where she served as a demo specialist, helping partners present the company to end-users. Before Avaya, Forney held account positions at Avaya reseller Altura Communication Solutions and video conferencing manufacturer Tandberg.
“Deb brings many exciting dimensions of talent to this new position, each of which will help play a role in furthering the success of our Avaya SME community of resellers," said Ray Jenne, executive vice president of operations and product management for Jenne. “Deb will function as a cornerstone in helping our customers achieve and exceed their potential in Avaya...solution sales."
Forney's official title at Jenne is Avaya Onboarding Specialist. It's a new position and Forney will oversee Jenne’s recruiting, onboarding and enablement activities for Avaya VARs targeting small and medium enterprises.
“Jenne is committed to helping our Avaya SME resellers achieve an accelerated onboarding experience, while ensuring our existing customers are leveraging our full suite of industry-leading resources," Forney said in a press release. "Our Avaya-focused capabilities allow Avaya VARs to ramp to revenue faster, while fostering lasting relationships that are based on success and commitment."
Jenne specializes in IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, data networking and IT security products from dozens of vendors. The company earlier this month announced its latest Avaya-centric training modules.
