Intelisys Buys Vision Consulting’s Vendor Agreements

August 25, 2011 - News

CHANNEL PARTNERS — Master agency Intelisys Communications Inc. (Booth #1409 at the Fall 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo) is buying Vision Consulting LCC’s vendor agreements.

Vision Consulting specializes in telecommunications advice, service, management and support. It will continue to market carrier services, with no impact to its clients.

“Vision Consulting was originally conceived to provide enterprise customers with a choice of telecommunications providers and complete account support within the telecom lifecycle," said Chuck Lester, CEO and cofounder of Vision Consulting. “We are confident that Intelisys will continue to provide the highest level of support and is the ideal partner to expand our carrier service offerings and strengthen our vendor agreements."

Vision Consulting apparently plans to broaden its telecom service offerings, but did not provide details on its new business model. For Intelisys’ part, buying Vision Consulting’s vendor agreements takes its strategy to the next level. The company described the arrangement as a “unique" setup that lets Vision Consulting use its supplier contracts to further growth. Vision Consulting now is an Intelisys Strategic Alliance Partner.

“We welcome our new partnership with Vision Consulting and look forward to building on the 15-year successes of the Vision Consulting customer service model," said Rick Ribas, Intelisys’ vice president of partner sales and business development for the Northeast region. “As Intelisys executes on its long-term strategic plan, we are energized by the Vision Consulting purchase and anticipate completing additional purchases in 2011 and beyond."

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
