CHANNEL PARTNERS — Airband Communications (Booth #1520 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo) and agent eXemplify Group announced they are installing a 450-seat hosted VoIP and Internet access solution for a business center owner whose seven properties previously operated on different networks served by multiple providers.
The business-center operator asked its technology partner, eXemplify Group, for a single-provider solution to its voice and data needs because it wanted to eliminate the inefficient process of dealing with multiple service providers, inconsistent service and the frustration of processing and paying numerous invoices across its seven properties.
The operator chose the hosted VoIP and Internet access solution from Airband because of the service architecture’s flexibility and Airband’s successful track record delivering hosted VoIP services during the past eight years. With the Airband hosted VoIP service, the customer is able to replace its existing antiquated phone systems with a full-featured voice service, eliminate the need to upgrade outdated PBX software, and remove the single point of failure for voice mail.
As part of the implementation, Airband upgraded voice services in all seven business centers, currently totaling more than 450 seats, and increased bandwidth tenfold to 100MB for several locations, all while lowering overall costs. In addition, Airband says it provides the service flexibility that can be easily customized for individual tenants based on their requirements for bandwidth and hosted stations. This flexibility is vital to business-center operators because they’re able to vary the voice and data services and fees charged to tenants.
