Vocal IP Networx (VIP) has a new manager of its indirect sales channel – Tom Rancel.

Rancel has 17 years of telecommunications sales experience, most recently as indirect channel manager of Clearwire's NY/NJ markets. He’s also been channel manager for XO Communications’ Southeast Region, challenging him to rebuild a few underperforming markets within that area.

"Tom does his best work in front of customers and prospect, selling side by side with his agents. As a new employee, he has expressed a great appreciation for level of technical expertise, which the Vocal IP Sales Engineering team has to offer to our prospects, customers, and agents. We both see a great opportunity for our partners to capitalize on the amazing technical expertise offered by our dedicated Vocal IP Engineering team," said Josh Redick, VP/GM of Vocal IP Networx.

Redick himself is new to VIP, being named vice president of sales earlier this month after serving as general manager of Clearwire’s New York and New Jersey markets.

New York City-based Vocal IP Networx specializes in IP Telephony solutions and services, and is a nationwide Internet services provider focusing on serving the business customer.
