Masergy, Thinking Phone Release Cloud-Based UC Solutions for Channel Sales

March 14, 2011 - News

Enterprise cloud communications service provider Thinking Phone Networks and managed-services provider Masergy are teaming up to offer cloud-based unified communications applications and cost-effective SIP trunking services on an intelligent, global IP/ MPLS platform.

Masergy’s channel partners can now receive a commission on the sale of Thinking Phone Networks’ international enterprise SIP trunking and global hosted unified communications services. In addition, Thinking Phone Networks will bundle these services with Masergy’s intelligent network platform, providing what the companies say is superior performance for real-time applications supported by the industry’s strongest global service level agreement (SLA). These services are highly flexible and can be provided to customers with separate or combined billing for network and hosted service purchases.

The agreement maintains existing customer service contacts and provides an opportunity for a single point of contact and control. This enables channel professionals to serve the best interests of their customers, while maximizing sales opportunities and residual revenue streams, the companies said.

The channel partnership combines sales opportunities for Thinking Phone Networks’ cloud-based ThinkingSuite unified communications platform and SIP trunking services with Masergy’s QoS guaranteed global network. ThinkingSuite combines communications and collaboration tools to allow enterprises to redefine business processes and workflows for organizational efficiency and competitive advantage. It includes a powerful business analytics engine for process and workflow visibility, third-party application integration to merge previously standalone systems, and best-in-class unified communications applications including voice, video, mobility, presence, messaging, and collaboration on a single platform.
