Qwest introduced the Premier Elite partner status June 1, 2010. The new business partner level offers a higher commission percentage and greater revenue protections than do the other existing levels, which include Select, Master and Premier. Premier Elite members have a monthly revenue commitment of $2.5 million.
As Premiere Elite, TBI will have an additional seat on Qwest’s Advisory Council. TBI Senior Vice President Ken Mercer has been on the board for a number of years. The new seat will be held by TBI Chief Strategy Officer Mike Saxby.
“We are honored and consider it a significant development for TBI to receive this level of recognition from one of the industry’s most robust and experienced channel programs as we are routinely recognized as a top revenue generator for all of our carriers," TBI noted in a press statement.
The achievement is in line with TBI’s goal to become the nation’s largest master agency, the company stated. “We look forward to growing our sales even further with Qwest, and in turn, rewarding productive partners," the company stated.
In addition to achieving Premiere Elite status, TBI was recognized for its sales performance in 2010. It was recognized as an Eagle Award winner for Highest MRC in the Central Region and as Qwest’s Top Local Voice Partner.
TBI represents more than 50 providers of Internet, data, local, long-distance, mobility and managed services.
