Qwest Intros Real-Time App Recovery for the Cloud

September 17, 2010 - News

CHANNEL PARTNERS — Qwest Communications (Booth #2014 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo) recently announced enhancements to its business continuity/disaster recovery portfolio with the launch of Qwest Real-Time Application Recovery. The new cloud-based service keeps business operations running uninterrupted in the event of a system failure and at a much lower price point than conventional backup solutions, the company said.

Qwest Business Partners now have Qwest Real-Time Application Recovery added to their comprehensive suite of Qwest communications solutions for their customers.

Qwest says the solution is ideal for the small- to medium-size business. It requires no capital expense, no technological lock-in, no in-house expertise and minimal administrative costs. Qwest Real-Time Application Recovery offers true visibility into the protection and disaster recovery status by offering frequent, detailed and complete non-disruptive health checks.

Attendees at the 2010 Channel Partners Conference & Expo can learn more about the latest trends in cloud-based services and opportunities by attending the “Cloud and Managed Services Synergies — Bringing Cloud Computing Down to Earth" presentation by Martin Capurro, Director – Product Management, at Qwest. The presentation will be Monday, Sept. 20, from 2:30-3:20 p.m.

QBPP representatives will also be available to answer questions about current Qwest incentives, communications solutions and how to become a Qwest Business Partner.
