snom technology AG says its full suite of IP desktop phones has passed a battery of interoperability tests with 4PSA's cloud-based unified communications solution, VoipNow. The tests included the snom 3xx and snom 8xx desktop phones, as well as the snom m3 wireless DECT phone, and support what snom claims is its growing position as the go-to developer of intelligent IP endpoints for unified communications systems of all kinds.
Snom says the combination of its open SIP architecture and 4PSA's innovative cloud computing communications software offers customers a low-cost, highly functional enterprise telephony system that is easily deployed and highly scalable to hundreds or thousands of endpoints, if necessary.
"All of snom's products are built on the premise of interoperability in any SIP environment, be it hardware or software, on-premises or hosted and even in the cloud," said Dr. Michael Knieling, executive VP of Marketing and Sales for snom. snom's suite of VoIP phones includes advanced IP phones such as the snom 3xx series, full-color touchscreen desktop phones such as the snom 870, wireless DECT phones such as the m3 and related endpoints, such as the PA1 paging system and the MeetingPoint conference phone. All are built with open SIP firmware allowing for simple installation, industry-wide interoperability and crystal-clear sound quality.
